… of the rest of my life, as the saying goes.
After many years of wishing for it, talking about it and planning it, I have finally taken the leap. I am working for myself. I am independent. I am unemployed, and I could not be happier.
Since I was 14, I’ve always wanted to work for myself, to own my own company. “One day,” I’ve said to myself a million times, “I will take the risk and go for it”. That has been my dream for a long time. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I didn’t enjoy the work I have done up to now. I have been lucky enough to work with some fantastic people, and on some great projects. I have created cool technology and I have learned so so much during that time. But that dream has always been there, gnawing at the back of my brain. I knew that one day, I would risk it.
Today is that day. The first day. I’m ready and I can’t wait to get started.
